“Integrity is the currency in business”. Who?
“If you don’t have more than four sources of income, you’re wasting your talents”. Who?
“Communication, in my view, is about conveying meaning”. Who?
“I do not give ‘free style’ because my style is not free”. Who?

These are fond memories of previous editions of the Role Model Africa Corporate Dialogue from the various personalities who have grace the platform from the beginning of the project. Among other things, the platform has shaped the thinking of the many African youth who have been part of the live audience who have participated in the previous editions of the Corporate Dialogue, which was launched in September, 2015.

The Role Model Africa project was launched in September, 2015 and was created to offer opportunities for mentorship and guidance to the African youth, who are seeking to experience growth in their business and careers. The projects has focused on themes that educate the African into becoming a ‘new’ and better person. In the past year, for every quarter there is a Corporate Dialogue as part of the mentoring project of Role Model Africa. The Role Model Africa Corporate Dialogue is a key feature of the project, the event seats hundreds of youth who get the opportunity to interact mentors in different fields of work and other youth who are seeking growth in their various fields of endeavors. The session is modelled in a story-telling format, where a guest (Role Model) shares his experiences and life stories with the audience through dialogue with a host (moderator).

The Role Model Africa project has successfully held three (3) different editions which have all bordered on different aspects of life in every quarter. The Corporate Dialogue, in the previous editions has been overly subscribed, and has set into motion a change in the ideologies of young Africans. The fourth edition of the Role Model Africa Corporate Dialogue comes off on Sunday, 2nd October, 2016. This is part of the one year anniversary celebration of the project. The anniversary celebration is characterized by a chain of activities, all designed to further entrench the institution of mentorship in the African society. The theme for the anniversary celebrations is “Discovering the New African”; motivated by the desire to see a better and improved Ghana and Africa.

The grass is greener on the other side, they say, only because it has been consistently watered. For a year, Role Model Africa, which is organized by Invents together with PM Media, have consistently watered the audience who have participated in the “Corporate Dialogue” held every quarter.
